Will Gail Collins Resign from The New York Times?

Read it and weep (or howl): We are informed on the online opinion page of The New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/pages/opinion/index.html):

"Gail Collins is off today."

This should come as no surprise. Having made a career of weaving the Seamus story into most of her recent op-eds (see: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/08/gail-collins-mitt-romney-dog-seamus_n_1331625.html), which had her lumpish readership in stitches, Collins must now contend with the fact that Obama ate dogs in Indonesia. In short, Collins has been left with nothing to write about, unless she is able to come up with a new "man bites dog" story.

Time to wake up and face the music, Gail.

  1. Obama ate snakes too. This might explain his ... flexibility.
